iPhone-tastic.

I'm not crazily into technology.Even though it can be great,I mostly find it disturbing.I've never had an excellent mobile phone because I haven't had the best track record with keeping my phone safe.My last phone was lost into the sea.Another phone I accidentally dropped out of a bus.One phone was crushed into a million pieces after a horrible break-up,I did a good job at making sure he couldn't contact me anymore.

But after much contemplation & anxiety over whether I could commit to both a classy phone & phone contract,I have somehow ended up with the new iPhone 4.

To start with I was hatin' on it.Now,I love it.Maybe a little too much.I love that I can mostly take pictures of anything at anytime.I'm always seeing things that inspire me along my everyday travels & I like that I can take a quick snap of it as a reminder.Kind of like a digital inspiration board.Everything is readily available on that phone, which is a little disturbing, but also quite handy.

Anyways, here are some of the 50 trillion shots I've taken on my iPhone.

mildly ok Friday.

This morning I woke to the sound of a generator & rainbow coloured inflated plastic swaying against the morning sky.Holy fuck![pardon me Good Friday]the neighbours have a gigantic jumping castle in their backyard.Time to make friends.

I'm sitting on the floor of my studio cross-legged with a steaming hot cup of fresh coffee in front of me & a half eaten chocolate easter bunny to the left.I feel lost. The sun is shining brightly after days of rain & gloom, but it's not igniting anything within me.

Sometimes I forget that even though I've come a long way, there are still remnants of this mind fuck that casually appear in my life. And here I am finding myself in this moment again where externally the world is gorgeous, but internally I am one part catatonic, one part horribly confused & one part frantically searching to find a reason & a solution.

I think I just ate a shard of rabbit printed tin foil with my broken piece of chocolate.Happy Easter.

para pelícano.

This afternoon I finished sewing the custom boardbag that PJ aka Pelican ordered from me for his fresh new 5'7 twinnie.

One down, another 2 littlies & a log cover to go!

I'm selling these babies for $90 if anybody else is
interested in a bag for yer board that isn't dull.

-All handmade by zee me & made from recycled/vintage/new fabrics
-No two bags are the same pattern/colour/fabric combo
-All bags are lined with canvas for a little more protection
-The nose is triple stitched/reinforced for extra tough times.
YIPPEEEE!!

Longboard/Log covers are $115.
Alaia covers are $60

of belonging & a constant source of beauty.

this time tomorrow, where will we be,sailing on the empty seas.

My tent, boards, art journal, cameras,my pet rat Pippa & I are hitting the road to
look for lovely waves, sunshine days, snippets of fresh inspiration, slumber under the stars & some time away to refresh my mind.

The past few days have been a complete mindfuck & some wandering, some change, some new faces & some time alone is needed.

So no blogging for a while,but I will return,hopefully
with a bucket load of shots.stories.scratches & sanity.

Seeya on the flipside!

never leave lonely alone.

So be lonely.
Learn your way around loneliness.
Make a map of it.
Sit with it,for once in your life.
Welcome to the human experience.
But never again use another person's body or emotions as a scratching
post for your own unfulfilled yearnings.
