Perpetual One

Lovely lady,Georgina from PERPETUAL ONE approached me with a task to help turn her new logo ideas into reality.


She wanted something simple.fresh.authentic & that reflected the spirit of her quality collected [antique] wares + assembled pieces.


The final result is this flag design which we're both really happy with.This is probably the first logo I've completed entirely on my Mac,no hand-drawing or even a smidge of pen which was a really nice change + I also managed to teach myself some new photoshop skills along the way.

The Village Markets | design

As you may know,the past month I've been crazily busy getting back into creating once again for 2012.In between designing + sewing up the fresh new range of Autumn/Winter range.working on a few custom clothing orders.starting new design projects for different lovely clients,I've managed to finish one project for The Village Markets.

I love The Village Markets,it's a bit dear to my heart as I've been attending the markets since the beginning,first with my previous clothing label & now with Millie.Along the way I've constantly been proud of the work & progress that Sarah & Marissa have achieved with their gorgeous market space & the support + platform they've provided for young designers & artisans.So when they asked me if I would be interested in designing their new promotional merchandise for 2012 I was totally honoured & excited to partake!

After a few late nights sketching away,I was happy with this illustration for their new merchandise.A bit of a clean up + a few tweaks on zee Mac & I emailed off the new design to Marissa + Sarah who are now loving their fresh,new TVM merch design.

I've slowly delved into some sewing again for my 

clothing label & these are 2 kimonos which have come to fruition.

They're possibly the comfiest little pieces of clothing ever!

YEAR 1

We had our last market for the year at Burleigh last Sunday + it also happens to be our first year of existance! 
GIGANTIC thankyous to those who have supported my little creative adventure over the past year,I wouldn't be able to do what I do as my 'occupation' without you guys & for that I'm grateful.

Millie will be returning next year towards the end of January,but for now I am wandering off for some much needed sea dwelling,sunshine frolicking,sand sugaring & general relaxing after a crazy first year.

Thankyou to everybody once again & I shall see you in 2012 for hopefully another year of creative madness.

when you're in your little room.

Since moving closer to the sea I've resisted the urge to 

work from home,instead choosing to work directly from my studio 

near the mountains so my work stays at work & there's no temptation to get up at 2 in the morning to work on some idea that's infiltrated my brain & eventually slip into my old habit of zero sleep + brain fried.

BUT ALAS!!! I caved.

Making a tiny space in my bedroom for a desk + chair + my iMac + other computery junk.I now have a little workspace at home,but so far I'm still getting my sleep & not waking up at stupid hours of the night to work.

I found the little yellow chair at a tip shop for $2 + the old desk was $7 from Salvos + a can of Flamingo Pink spray paint $7.50 = a bit of cheap awesome fun.

weekly planner | free download

If you're like me & run around on a daily basis like a 

chook with it's head cut off,trying to multi-task as 

well as remember what I'm supposed to be doing throughout 

the day,then you will find weekly planners handy.

A couple of days ago I went out to buy a weekly planner note pad.

After spending a few hours,yeah I'm kind of crazy when it 

comes to the correct stationary for my liking,I found out that 

the majority of weekly planner note pads are REALLY fucking dull.

The fact that I have to 'plan' my week is horrible enough,but having 

to plan it on a visually boring-arsed note pad makes the task worse.

So,I went home & designed my own.

Here it is,it's a bit fun & I thought I'd share it with 

you my lovely blog readers.

All you need to do is download it,print it out on some 

A4 sized paper [scrap paper = YOU'RE A MAD AWESOME RECYCLER],

stick it on your fridge/pinboard/wall/desk & plan your 

week so you'll never be a mad headless chook person again,maybe.
