Rainy day sewing bits'n'pieces.

Other than notebooks,my other obsession is pouches.

I fucking love them! 

They're handy & I usually use them to store the essentials that I use from bag to handbag to tote to whatever other type of bag I use.

I made this little pouch for myself today from some aztec inspired linen + leather from an old leather skirt I have hacked apart + a little vintage doily + one of many zippers that I've picked up from op-shops over time.

It's the perfect size & it's a bit fun & I'm thinking of making some more to sell,but there's no way I'm using linen + leather together again!! It's such a pain in zee ass to sew.

I've started making a few bits'n'pieces for the little ladies again.These 2 little dresses are now available at my online store + I'll be sewing up some more designs over the next 2 weeks for both the little ladies & little men.

They're a bit fun & actually really functional!

the other day i made this bunt-tastic-bunting for my market stall.

i needed it to be asexual bunting because my creative goodies are for both mens & ladies! i also wanted it to be less 'cutesy' than the usual bunting that's currently hanging around the place.
bunting making is serious business.

and i painted these pieces of driftwood for shits'n'giggles,but i think i'll be using them as part of some other project i'm currently working on.

home is wherever i'm with you.

The past few days [& most likely some more future days] I've been moving house.

I'm probably the only person that enjoys moving.I find excitement in the fact that it's a new place to live,that I can set it up differently,that I can observe the characteristics of my new abode & absorb the fact that everything is fresh.

I'm sharing a place with one of my loveliest friends,Crispy.

Crispy,yeah he's cool.

Moving houses also allows me to indulge in my secret desire to be an interior designer,even though I'm probably really shit.

I've also noticed that the more I move,the less I bring with me.I like that fact.I've culled so many material possessions out of my life over the past 

couple of years that I'm left with barely anything & most people might find that horrifying,but I find it crazily liberating.In the end it's all just "stuff" & it's frightening to realise that we can become so attached & defined by the objects we acquire over time.I dunno,that's just me I guess.

This afternoon I finished sewing the custom boardbag that PJ aka Pelican ordered from me for his fresh new 5'7 twinnie.

One down,another 2 littlies & a log cover to go!

I'm selling these babies for $90 if anybody else is 

interested in a bag for yer board that isn't dull. 


-All handmade by zee me & made from recycled/vintage/new fabrics 
-No two bags are the same pattern/colour/fabric combo 
-All bags are lined with canvas for a little more protection 
-The nose is triple stitched/reinforced for extra tough times.

Yesterday afternoon I received a parcel in the mail from Sweden.Within that parcel was a delicious roll of nature-inspired tape I had ordered from the lovely little store/online store Fine Little Day.

The store is self-described as "...Fine Little Day is a swedish multidisciplinary art and design platform and brand, that specializing in playful creating. The Shop is located in Sweden/Gothenburg" 

I'm trying to remain calm & not spend my coins on every single thing in the shop.There's so much goodness to be purchased there! 

I adore the sailing boat wallpaper. 

But for now,I will be covering everything in this wilderness tape...
