The Village Markets X Millie

Recently I was asked by The Village Markets ladies to design their new market totes,last weekend they finally arrived fresh from the printers & ready to be toted by market shoppers.

I'm really happy with how these little guys turned out! You can own your own tote for just $5,all you need to do is pop along to The Village Markets,Burleigh Heads on the 1st + 3rd Sunday of every month or pop over to their site to nab yourself some tote goodness!

Last Saturday I had my solo exhibition,the first in a very long time & after a few weeks of late nights,freaking the fuck out & numerous trips to the art shop,the exhibition was a really awesome night for both myself and everybody who came along for the arty festivities.Lots of people rocked up & I was quite surprised by the love given by all! Jungle punch was guzzled,sushi + chicken curry + wild rice + mini persian love cakes devoured & general fun to be had.

A culmination of new + old,but all tied together with the love of nature,the grittiness of life & the raw beauty of our surroundings,most pieces were sold on the night & I couldn't be happier.

Thankyou hugely to everybody who wandered over to Little Boat to support my art junk,to Little Boat for giving me a space to show my art,to Sara for cooking a yummy lemongrass & lime curry & to my gorgeous boyfriend for his massive help & support & hugs.

Baking Whore

A change is lovely. As of this week I've started working a few days a week at my friends café,Little Boat Espresso as the baking whore!

Yesterday I made a batch of 'big fuck off' melting moments + a sizey loaf of coconut bread + rainbow-fied cupcakes. Oh! And I got to hang out with new little chunky man,Rupert!

Baking deliciousness + hangs with puppies...I love this job already!

To celebrate the opening of Little Boat,Sara hosted a Mad Men themed party. The night was deliriously fun,everybody was so lovely & we downed copious amounts of espresso martinis.white wine & cheeses.
